*The American Council on Education's College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE Credit®) has evaluated and recommended college credit for 25 of Sophia's online courses. Sophia's courses are ACE Credit® recommended for transfer to many colleges and universities.
A Simple Way to Complete Your Gen-Ed Requirements
Take at least six quarter credits from each of these categories to reach the 24 credits you need to apply to Capella: communication, humanities, natural science and mathematics, and social science.
Capella students receive access to ACE-recommended courses for college credit from our affiliate, Sophia Learning. You must submit Sophia courses for transfer within 10 weeks of starting your first FlexPath course. Talk to your enrollment counselor to learn more.*
*All transfer and PLA credit must be completed prior to starting any program in the FlexPath format. Any professional certification or external courses taken concurrently with FlexPath enrollment cannot be recognized in the Capella degree program.
